 SCOTT
has re-launched the popular Scout four-gas instrument
with several product upgrades and new sales incentives
for our customers. The most visible change in the product
is a new choice of a textured black casing for non-PID
Scouts. This new design will reduce the cost of the
Scout for all the most common configurations such as
monitors with O2, LEL(combustible gases), CO, H2S, and
PID sensors and complete confined space kits. All the
features and performance capabilities on the new black
Scout will remain the same as the original nickel-plated
Scout, which allows users to log the usage of the instrument
for future analysis. In addition to improving sensor
warranties on the Scout, Scout has implemented a Scout
Performance Guarantee which promises shipment of Scout
orders within 72 business hours or it is free! – a first
for Scout.
Standard equipment includes:
- Leather holster with belt clip and shoulder strap
- Quick reference card
- Owners manual
- Datalogger
– Scouts with pump also include 10
foot sample tubing, 12 inch sample probe with hydrophobic
and particulate filters.
– Scouts with the rechargeable Lithium-ion battery include
the wireless charger.
– If ordered as a Confined Space Kit (CSK) Scouts include
standard equipment along with foam lined carry case,
calibration gas(es) and calibration tubing and regulator.
