HEARING PROTECTION PROVIDING COMMUNICATION CAPABILITIES

FREE-COM TRANSCEIVER OR RECEIVE ONLY
Self-contained radio hearing protectors that communicate at ranges up to 2 kilometres. The radio operates at high frequency ‘free’ radio bands, which improves the headset’s ability to transmit near fixed objects.
With receive only and transceiver versions available, immediate vicinity communications is also possible as all products include level dependent electronics as standard. The transceiver product can transmit and receive on 6 selectable channels and transmitting can be voice operated (VOX) or push button (PTT). The batteries have a long life, before recharging. Accessories include remote PTT buttons, boom and throat microphones.

RAD-COM TRANSCEIVER OR RECEIVE ONLY
The full range of portable / mobile radio handsets can be used with this product, the distance governed by the radio interfaced. The weight of these products start at 295 grams with various electronic options that may be added or removed. Rechargable long life battery and charger are supplied as standard equiptment. Accessories include remote PTT buttons, boom and throat microphones. Connection to the fixed or portable radio consists of a headset and appropriate connector capable of interfacing with the radio in use.

TEL-COM COMMUNICATION EARMUFFS FOR TELEPHONES
Mobile phones are becoming the communication medium for business. The Protector communications range combines high performance, comfortable hearing protection with the ability to communicate in noisy areas via a standard mobile phone. Most cell phones can be used with the product range, communicating globally whilst in noisy environments. Weight is similar to other products in the range and vary with customer requirements. Connection to a mobile or DECT phone is by means of a specific push in connector. As with all products in the range if the cell phone is upgraded the connector is simply replaced.

AVIATION HEADSETS
A full range of robust communication aviation headsets are available. They provide 2-way radio/listen only communications and hearing protection for airport, ground staff, engineers etc,. Applications within the aviation industry for this product are varied and can be provided with company logo if required. Pilots operating sightseeing tour flights can now fit passengers with listen only headsets. This improves communications and protects passengers from excessive noise.

INTRINSICALLY SAFE COMMUNICATION HEADSETS
Protector brand communication headset range also provides intrinsically safe (IS) units. These headsets are ideal for noisy areas with volatile, flammable environments eg petroleum/chemical industries. Like the standard range of products they are available in free standing and cap-attached models.

ALERT LEVEL DEPENDENT ELECTRONIC EARMUFFS
The ‘hear’ hearing protector with level dependent function allows immediate vicinity listening. Whilst totally protected from excessive noise the wearer can hear warning signals, instructions and equipment operating in safety. Protector’s level dependent circuitry processes the surrounding sound, then amplifies it by up to 16 db(A), through speakers built into each cup. At the same time any sounds above 82 db(A) will be blocked out electronically to the passive performance of the hearing protector. Zero amplificator model also available.

FOCUS RADIO EARMUFFS
Radio hearing protectors motivate the wearer especially working in isolated or repetitive job activities where noise levels exist. The stereo AM/FM radio reception is of a high sound quality, volume limited to a maximum of 82db(A) with units effective in most industrial work sites. Focus earmuffs are supplied with rechargable batteries and charger.

CONTROL LEVEL DEPENDENT AM/FM RADIO EARMUFFS
This product combines easy to use level dependent electronics with AM/FM radio capabilities. It provides the wearer with immediate listening and/or recreational radio. Powered by rechargeable batteries ensuring cost effective operation.

All products in the range are available in free standing and cap-attached versions. They offer total protection whilst exposed to a hazardous noise.
